New Trinitarian Ontologies Conference

I co-organized New Trinitarian Ontologies, an academic conference on philosophical theology at the University of Cambridge in September 2019. We gathered 33 prominent academics to deliver papers. Dr James Aitken, chair of the Cambridge divinity faculty called it “undoubtedly…the largest and most prestigious line-up we have seen in a conference run by the faculty.”

In addition to my work applying for grants, liaising with speakers, venue, scheduling, and so on, I did all of the web and graphic design, videography, and digital marketing for the conference. Through word of mouth, social media, and email lists, I drew in 310 guests from 28 countries, raising £25,000 in registration fees. Since then, our YouTube channel with the conference proceedings has accumulated 48,500 views and 775 subscribers.

*The marketing obviously made a splash, reaching tens of thousands of people worldwide. A number of people asked how we afforded to hire a marketing firm for the conference. But I managed all of it myself with a budget of only £150.

Conference Trailer

The trailer I filmed received 18,000 views on Facebook and 4,500 on Youtube.
